Adorned in her signature all-white uniform and combat boots, K.Flay brought her fall headlining tour in support of her brand new album, Solutions, to her hometown of Chicago.

In a 19-song setlist, K. Flay played nearly every song off of her new album that came out this past summer. She also mixed in some of the favorites from her catalog such as “Black Wave,” “Giver,” and “Make Me Fade.” She saved “Blood In The Cut” and “Sister” for her encore.

Mixing bits of rock, rap, indie and pop, K.Flay’s show has a little bit in it for everyone. The eclectic rapper danced and whipped her hair on stage while a white staircase and illuminating projectors filled the space behind her.

She encouraged the audience to leave their stresses behind and enjoy the present moment. Most of K.Flay’s music has an empowering message such as her song “I Like Myself (Most of the Time).” For this song, she commanded the audience to shout the lyrics ” I feel it, I want it, I need it, I love it” along with her, making for one of the most memorable moments of the entire night.

After K.Flay is done preaching her message and performing her new material off of Solutions to North America, her diatribe of self-compassion will hit Europe later this year, allowing more audiences worldwide to see the love, power and talent she brings with her wherever she goes.
