Following the release of their self-titled debut album released in 2017, and an EP titled, DON’T TRY THIS, released earlier this year, the Australian alt-pop trio Chase Atlantic are back at it again with some new music that fans are sure to love, with their latest release titled Phases which drops June 28 via MDDN/BMG records.

The album starts with an instrumental track simply titled “Intro.” This track is an interesting one. It has a slow beat with a mysterious spacey vibe. The intro track leads right into the second song titled “Angels” which starts off following the same eerie, spacey vibe of the intro track.  This track especially has the R&B mixed with electronic synth-pop sound that this group has become so known for.

The groups first single off the album was a track called “Her” for which they also dropped a music video. This track is portrayed as a feel-good track on the outside while, in reality, focuses on some rather serious subject matter. The song speaks on falling in love with somebody who cannot truly be loved. It touches on serious issues, including drug abuse while being portrayed in a lovely, pretty manner.

Overall this album is packed full of fun jams fans are sure to love as well as has essential messages. Chase Atlantic are already on the rise and they are sure to only get bigger and better. Chase Atlantic will be heading out on their North American Tour with Lauren Sanderson this summer so make sure to go check out a show if it’s coming through your city.
