On Friday, April 5th Lennon Stella performed at the August Hall in San Francisco for her Love, Me Tour. Like most of her previous stops on tour, the show was sold out and packed with adoring fans.

To kick the night off, she performed “Like Everybody Else,” a single she released in August of 2018. Throughout the night she danced around the stage and excited the crowd while providing perfectly smooth vocals. She was joined onstage by a full band along with a great lighting set up which added to her performance. At once point, she slowed things down and performed “Polaroid” a song she collaborated on with Jonas Blue and Liam Payne. She performed the piece acoustically with just her on guitar. The crowd was captivated and joined in singing the whole night, but an absolute favorite was “Fortress,” a song from her first EP Love, me.

A special treat for the crowd was when she brought out her younger sister Maisy and performed a song they produced together called “Kids.” She tried to close out the night with her latest single “BITCH (Takes One to Know One)” which she just released last month. However, the crowd wasn’t having any of that, and they demanded she return to the stage for an encore. First, she sang a slower song, “Goodbye” accompanied by just her piano player. Then to end out the set she performed “La Di Da,” a song which is also from her EP Love, me.

At just 19 years of age, Lennon Stella gave a fantastic performance with killer vocals and surprised me with her talent. Later this year, she is set to go on tour and open along with 5 Seconds of Summer for The Chainsmokers U.S. tour World War Joy so if you get the chance, I encourage you to check her out.
