PREMIERE: Laik bust out the power pop dance moves on “Neighbors”

Laik might hail from Chicago, but there’s nothing cold about their recent single “Neighbors” off their record Curse My Dance Moves out April 5, 2019. A power pop bop with indie chops, the catchy melodies builds into a dance-y chorus. The duo describe their upcoming album as “pretty introspective and somewhat liberating.” A warm single built for dancing, check out the song and a quote from the band below.

“‘Neighbors’ is about totally losing yourself in the process of making something.  For me is starts in my bedroom with my laptop and a guitar. The song is about how it may sound from my upstairs or downstairs neighbors’ perspective.  They may think I’ve gone insane – especially when I’m working on headphones and I start to move around a bit. In the end, I wanted the song to be a sort of anthem for doing what you love to do, whatever it may be, without caring what other people think.”
