Exclusive Premiere: Knox Hamilton – “Pretty Way To Fight”

Knox Hamilton is a group of Arkansas natives consisting of brothers Cobo and Boots Copeland and Drew Buffington, and although they’re a fairly new band on the market, they’ve generated quite a buzz ahead of their upcoming debut release, The Heights, due out March 10 on Prospect Park Records.

Today, we’re thrilled to premiere another upbeat, catchy track from The Heights called “Pretty Way To Fight.” Knox Hamilton has a seemingly effortless way of making music that gives the illusion that they’re seasoned veterans in the industry when they’ve only just begun their career, so to speak. If “Pretty Way To Fight” is any indication of what the band is able to accomplish musically, there’s no telling where these Arkansas boys will be a year from now. We’re predicting ultimate alternative stardom.

Here’s what Boots had to say about the song:

“‘Pretty Way To Fight’ was written after the album was completely finished. Our label was excited about it and knew that we wanted it on the record and made it happen very quickly. The song combines our love of ’80s synth bass-driven riff rock and straight up head-bangin rock n roll. It’s one of the most energetic songs on the already fast-paced album, and we can definitely see this one becoming a favorite to perform live.”

The Heights is available for pre-order here.
