How did you form?
Harry had been writing songs for a while, and in 2011 he put an ad up on Craigslist looking for a drummer to play some shows.  Anthony answered and joined the band right away.  When our original keyboardist left in 2012, we recruited Jes, who we knew from playing a show with her previous band.  Then, when our original bass player told us that he was leaving in late 2013, we put another ad on Craigslist. Chuck answered that one and joined in early 2014.  We’ve had a few band members come and go, but we’re still friends with just about everyone who used to be in this band

What has been the highlight of your career?
The biggest highlight so far has been working with Fred Mascherino (Terrible Things, The Color Fred, Taking Back Sunday) to produce our latest EP, Light Years and Heavy Lifting.  It was really cool getting to work with someone who has written some of our favorite albums and songs.  Not only does he know a lot about making a record, but he’s also one of the nicest people we’ve ever met.

Why should people listen to you? What makes you different?
We write songs that are a lot of fun to sing along to.  Whether you’re seeing us for the first time in some bar or hall, or driving around in your car listening to our CD, the lyrics and melodies have a way of grabbing you.  People have also told us that they find themselves just singing our songs while going about their day. The melodies are very catchy, and the words are really relatable.
