Still The Sky’s Limit

4

What started off as a side project turned into a full fledged rock band from Orange County, CA. Their music draws in everything good about the genres of rock, alternative, and a hint of something harder and mixes it together. It’s a classic and nostalgic sound that will take you back to the days you listened to The Used, Saosin or Taking Back Sunday in middle school. Their music is definitely worth giving a chance. Check out their profile below to find out more about the band and also find out how you can win the sweetest prize packs in the history of prize packs!

How did the band form?
Still The Sky’s Limit began as an acoustic, solo, side project for Johnny. After asking a few friends to jam out some of the songs with full band instrumentation it was clear that a band had to be formed. All members of Still The Sky’s Limit were friends prior to the band’s existence.

What has been the highlight of your career so far?
The highlight of our career thus far has been recording our latest record. We had the great fortune of acquiring the expertise of producer Erik Ron, and the outcome of the process was beyond even our wildest expectations.

Why should people listen to you? What makes you different?
We appreciate everyone that takes the time to listen to even one of our songs. I’m not sure that there’s an answer for why anyone “should” listen to us, same for like any artist we put every single bit of ourselves into every note of every song.  So, perhaps the “should” is based on our extreme passion for music along with our positive outlook on all obstacles life can present. In terms of what makes us different I feel that all of our vastly differing influences creates a different sound of rock music that not many have heard before. We receive that compliment at almost every show; people don’t seem to know how to categorize our style. That is one of the best compliments I’ve ever heard.

I love STSL for many reasons. The sound is different, it simply draws me in. The lyrics tell stories. I love just driving in the car & listening to their music, it’s upbeat and perfect to the ears. Sharing their music with others is easy & I’m extremely proud to be a fan.

  2. I love Still The Sky’s Limit music. Why? Because not every song is the same, they make songs that people can relate too so much, there not that known. I like bands that aren’t really known yet so I can say “Oh, I knew them before they became popular”. They have great music. Everything about the band is perfect.

I love Still The Sky’s Limit for many reasons. I actually saw them when they opened for Hawthorne Heights. They absolutely blew me away. The lead singer was fully energetic along with having a great set of pipes. He got off stage several times and played in the croud. The drummer amazed me as well. I couldn’t stop watching him. Even though I just started listening to them, I love their music. I enjoy both their lyrics and their sound. I also love that you can see that they are doing what the love when they perform.
