Ecca Vandal
Holocene // Portland, OR // October 7, 2026

A very soothing type of music is played through the speakers. There are spotlights that shine across the stage. Then suddenly the lights become red, flashing all around, and with the utmost electricity. She soon asked the crowd to jump and everyone matched each other’s energy.
All the way from Australia, singer-songwriter Ecca Vandal is making her way across the U.S. and part of Canada on her Looking For People to Unfollow headliner tour. It’s taking place mostly throughout October with 10 total stops. On October 7, she played Holocene in Portland, OR, to a sold-out crowd. Probably won’t see her play such a small venue again, for her music is blowing up.
The amount of liveliness felt in the venue the entire night was so incredible. With over 15 songs on the setlist, the alternative artist gave a performance filled with the most fun, high-level, almost chaotic energy. You could say it was a nearly exhilarating experience to be there. She gave it her all on stage, you could tell through her enthusiastic stage presence — her focus was on her performance, but without neglecting to interact with the crowd.
Earlier this year, Ecca Vandal put out a new record titled ‘LOOKING FOR PEOPLE TO UNFOLLOW,’ a true banger, which she performed multiple songs off of. During the track “BLEED BUT NEVER DIE,” she did the coolest thing that night: She asked where her girl fans were in the crowd and invited them to join her on stage. It was so great to witness that and see all the baddies there with her.
One may say Ecca Vandal’s music could draw in a specific crowd based on her sound, that being a very punk-appearing group, but the audience included a mix of people ranging in age, style and beyond, to name a couple of examples. But everyone was there for the show, jumping and moving about to the songs played that night. Her vibes were immaculate in the most alternative punk rock way, both in her outfit and how she presented herself up there.
If you want to match her level, you can still catch Ecca Vandal on her second half of this headlining tour by getting your tickets here. Get ready for chaos, to get rid of pissed off feelings by screaming along to her music and maybe even join her on stage. You’ll have the best time letting go.
