 LØLØ

Holocene // Portland, OR // October 6, 2026

Review by: Bruna Cucolo

Have you ever thought your favorite artist’s songs sound as if they could come straight out of their diary? Do the lyrics from those songs resemble the words from your own personal diary? If you’ve ever questioned or felt these things, or if you’re looking to experience a moment like these from an artist, there is a tour just for you.

From Toronto, Ontario, Canada, the singer-songwriter LØLØ is currently on her God Forbid a Girl Goes on Tour! headliner with 26 stops. Last April, she released her sophomore studio album, ‘god forbid a girl spits out her feelings!,’ which she performs multiple tracks from on this tour. And stopping in Portland, OR for the first time as a headliner on October 6 she brought her tour to the Holocene where she spit out her feelings.

In the venue, the stage was lit up with pink-toned colored lights. There was a robot in cheetah print with a star on its chest that sat in the back left corner. Then, through the speakers, LØLØ was heard reciting her journal, starting with the opening, “Dear Diary.” And there it was, the start of that experience that was sought after.

The Canadian pop punk/pop rock artist performed nearly 20 songs that night including “pretty little wreck,” “the punisher” and “hot girls in hell.” During “debbie downer” LØLØ threw pom poms into the crowd and invited a fan to join her on stage, giving them a sash with writing on it resembling the song’s title. She also covered Plain White T’s famous track “Hey There Delilah” but with her version, AKA Delilah’s point of view, singing the lyrics she wrote six years ago and posted on socials during COVID. Joining her on stage for that song was the opener Dawson Gamble. Together, they certainly made that performance one of the highlights of the night for the crowd.

All night, the entire room was filled with such wonderful energy. LØLØ showed so much excitement to be there in the room in front of everyone, the fans enjoyed singing along, the interaction between her and everyone was so sweet, it felt very wholesome in there. She made it clear that the night was a safe space to laugh and cry and block or even call your ex! And as she shared her diary entries a few times, it made those there feel like they were becoming a part of the act by being introduced to more of the singer’s feelings.

She’s a little over halfway through her North American headliner, so you can still catch her in one of the upcoming cities by going here. Get in the mix of sharing feelings and being OK with doing so. You’ll leave feeling great — god forbid you have a marvelous time at one of LØLØ’s shows!
