The Academy Is… will release the follow-up to 2007’s Fast Times at Barrington High on March 27. Almost There will serve as a counterpart to the band’s 2005 debut, Almost Here. In celebration of the news, the band have released a new single called “2005,” which can be streamed below. On the upcoming release, the band shares:
“Almost Here was the beginning. Almost There is the reflection. It’s about being alive in this moment, checking in with who you thought you’d be, seeing what changed, what stuck, and what still feels like home.”
