As It Is announce new self-titled album

0

As It Is will release their new self-titled album on July 17. In celebration of the news, they have released a brand new song called “Ruin My Life,” which can be streamed below. The track features Murray Macleod from The Xcerts. On the new single, vocalist Patty Walters shares:

We’re so excited to share with the world ‘Ruin My Life’, a reckless love song about the band and all we’ve been through together. It’s a celebration of getting back together and a nod to all the mistakes we made along the way. We’re not the only band to have made amazing memories and catastrophic choices in equal measure, but we couldn’t tell the story of our band by omitting either. Without our unbreakable friendship, we wouldn’t have survived, and this song is about the love that got us to the other side of the darkness. We wrote this song with Murray from The Xcerts, so it only felt right to have him with us in the studio and his voice on the recording. We wouldn’t have this song, truly one of our all-time favourites, without him.”
