Mayday Parade will release their new EP Out Of Here on Oct. 16 via Rise Records. In celebration of the EP’s announcement, they have unveiled a video for their new song “Lighten Up Kid.”
Back in March, Mayday Parade stepped into the studio with longtime collaborators Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount to record the EP. On “Lighten Up Kid,” Mayday Parade’s Jake Bundrick shares:
“’Lighten Up Kid’ is about trying to find yourself and the strength to keep fighting for what you believe in,. It’s about being or feeling cut down and hung out to dry but standing up for yourself in the end.”
The Out Of Here EP follows up the band’s last full-length album Sunnyland which was released in 2018. Pre-orders for Out Of Here are available here.
