Manchester-based alt rock/emo band Medlock have released a music video for their new single “Cold Air.” The song was produced by Loathe‘s Erik Bickerstaffe and follows up their recently released songs “Mould” and “True Mate // Room Mate.” On the new single, Matt Cummings says:
“After recording our first EP we came away from the studio with a much clearer idea of how we wanted to sound for future songs. So when writing ‘Cold Air’ shortly after, we knew we wanted to incorporate some dreamy tones and heavily reverberated lead lines. Once we had the intro, guitar and lead lines sorted, the rest of the song sort of fell into place quite naturally. In terms of the lyrics, they aren’t meant to be interpreted too specifically. They were written so the listener could relate and apply them to their own situations, mainly relationships and the trust and promises in them.”
