Foals

It is very rare to see any band sell out three nights at the same venue, let alone one who doesn’t get mainstream radio play. However, Foals is that band. Although I had seen Foals before as an opening act, I was blown away by their show overall. I enjoyed the new album and was excited to see the songs live, but coming out of the show, the album was elevated to one of my favorites of this year so far.

The way in which the band plays live is unparalleled, injecting so much energy into every song that no one in the audience could stand still. New songs such as “In Degrees,” “Sunday,” and “White Onions” shined, as well as old favorites such as “Providence,” “Spanish Sahara,” and “Red Socks Pugie.” If you enjoy rock music in any regard, Foals is a band that you should not pass up next time they come through town.
