Golden Youth consists of a singer-songwriter best friend duo who resides in Nashville, TN. They bring light into the indie-alternative genre and display an honest sound that is difficult to find these days; not to mention they focus much of their music on orchestral instruments that allow them to have their own sound. In fact, their debut album Quiet Frame; Wild Light will be released a week from today (May 28th) and we have strong faith that this will put them on the map in the music community. How did you form?
I [Stephanie] brought some songs to Kyle, who owns a studio, and after working on them for a few days decided that we needed to work together. I asked if he wanted to start a band with me and he said yes!
What has been the highlight of your career up to this point?
We played a pre-release show for our friends and family in California and it couldn’t have been more amazing. I can’t believe the amount of people that came out to show their support! It was a perfect way to close that chapter of our lives and start our new lives in Nashville!
Why should people listen to you?
I hope people listen to our music because that’s why we made it! 🙂 We worked really hard to try and create something that could be a soundtrack to your life adventures.
What makes you different?
I think the thing that makes us different would be the amount of instruments we use! We are kind of addicted to learning how to play new things and experiment with new sounds. I hope people enjoy the sound because we had so much fun creating it!
