Five Best Albums For A 21st Birthday
Words & Picks by Will Howard

My twenty first birthday comes in just a few short days and like any other important day in my life I find myself turning to music.  The list below are just five of a much longer list of music I’ll be listening to as I spend the night on the town with my friends. They’re all about good vibes, good friends and remembering to feel young with every breath. I hope you all enjoy them as much as I do.

Blink 182 – Take Off Your Pans and Jacket
This is just one of those classic records that you fall in love with over and over again. It brings back memories of my childhood and never fails to bring about a good mood. Blink 182 is a go to amongst my friends especially on nights of celebration.

Bad Rabbits – Stick Up Kids
I fell in love with this band my freshman year of college. I played it every night we went out my freshman year until I killed it for everyone but myself. Its dancy, upbeat, and just gets everyone up off their feet. I love to throw this on and just start having fun.

Fall Out Boy – Take This to Your Grave
With their reunion still fresh in everyone’s ears, Fall Out Boy has become a regular play in my house. Whether it be washing dishes, or just hanging around with friends Take This to Your Grave brings everyone back to high school. What more could you want on your birthday than a record that makes you feel like you’re falling in love with music all over again.

Jimmy Eat World – Chase This Light
There’s just something special about this Jimmy Eat World record for me. It makes me feel like I’m falling in love for the very first time and that all is right with the world. For a man with quite the opposite view most nights this record always makes the bad look beautiful. When I put this on I know I’m in store for a wonderful evening.

Real Friends – Everyone That You Dragged Here
Pop Punk always brings out the good mood for me. Real Friends bring it just as hard as any ten year veteran of the genre. Everyone That You Dragged Here puts the pep back in my step regardless of what’s dragging me down. It’s five tracks of good times, and a great deal of fun.
