The Greeting Committee share “Ada” video

The Greeting Committee have unveiled a video for their new LGBTQIA+ anthem “Ada.” The latest single appears on their forthcoming album Dandelion, out September 24. Pre-orders for the album are available here. As vocalist Addie Sartino shares, the track was inspired by Ada, a trans woman the band befriended years ago.

“When we were writing that song, [Ada] took the time to go for a two-hour walk with me and tell me about being transgender and growing up in a small town, and what that felt like for her. I think it’s important to have a song like ‘Ada’ on our album, and it’s even more important to give Ada and Dakota the recognition they deserve. Because at the end of the day, I’m not transgender — that’s not my story to share. But I do have a voice and a platform, and to be able to use that platform to share these very personal stories is incredibly special. It’s something that we as a band don’t take lightly.”
