FEVER 333 is perhaps one of the most exhilarating band to come out of the hardcore scene in recent years. With a powerfully unreal live set and music with substance to back it, seeing FEVER 333 live is an experience everyone needs to have.

With the entire tour having no support acts, the downtime before FEVER 333 took the stage in London allowed for fans in the venue to take advantage of the bar and get amped up for the performance. While many in attendance probably would have enjoyed seeing a support act or two, the absence of them certainly allowed for the atmosphere to be intense as everyone waited in anticipation.

“Made An America” opened up the night and caused the entire room to explode with all of the pent up energy. Crowd surfers soared over the barricade as vocalist Jason Aalon Butler, guitarist Stephen Harrison and drummer Aric Improta stormed the stage in their signature fashion, Harrison and Butler running around the stage so much, it was easy to get dizzy watching them.

“Only One,” “Out of Control” and “One of Us,” were a few of the other songs included in their London set that caused a frenzy inside the venue – circle pits, crowd surfers and passionate voices rapping alongside Butler filled every available inch of the space.

Midway through the set, they threw in a cover of Green Day’s “Brain Stew” and invited Nova Twins on stage to help perform the track, a guest appearance that FEVER 333 rarely does in their live sets.

Reinforcing the band’s unpredictability, “Am I Here?” was a truly memorable moment in the night. Running through the crowd and up the stairs, Butler situated himself on the venue’s seated balcony with a piano and microphone as he overlooked the crowd. The entire venue echoed back the song’s choruses to Butler, showcasing the passion and loyalty FEVER 333 fans have for the band and the relatable music they create.

Closing out the night with “Burn It” and an encore performance of “We’re Coming In,” “The Innocent” and “Hunting Season,” FEVER 333 is simply a band you must see live to truly understand. Putting on one of the most energetic and captivating performances London has seen in a long time, FEVER 333 has not only managed to find their own sound within the “rapcore” genre, but has mastered the art of a good live performance, creating a show that is unpredictable, passionate and downright entertaining.
