Veterans Day weekend marks the annual Dusk Music Festival in Tucson, AZ. The stacked lineup includes some of the biggest names such as Rezz, Two Door Cinema Club, A R I Z O N A, Shallou(DJ Set) and Kaskade closing out the festival. Here are just a few of the acts you can check out over the festival weekend!
Rezz
Putting out Beyond the Senses EP earlier this year, Rezz creates a full wonderland with her music. You can expect to hear a collection of self released music as well as remix pieces she’s done with artists such as Zeds Dead, Linkin Park and Porter Robinson.
Two Door Cinema Club
After three years of supporting their album, Gameshow, Two Door Cinema Club have come back better than ever with their newest release, False Alarm. Their new sound takes an 80’s groovy twist, accompanying their primary color visual aesthetic that is bound to be eye catching IRL. Known for their hits such as “Undercover Martyn” and “What You Know,” you can expect to hear those nostalgic tunes as well as fall in love with their newest songs.
A R I Z O N A
A R I Z O N A’s back in Arizona, surprisingly not their home state, but still a state that holds a special place in their hearts. Releasing their second album earlier this year, Asylum, it’s an electro-pop dream with a collection of songs that beg to be sung.
Shallou
Shallou, an indie electronic artist, makes music that creates a dreamscape to get lost in. With songs such as “You and Me” and “Begin(Wales),” the ambient base with the light vocals singing romantic lyrics creates a soothing utopia that must be experienced live.
Kaskade
Closing out this year’s Dusk Music Festival is Kaskade, the legendary house DJ. Releasing Arkade Destinations Iceland earlier this year, Kaskade has done it again. His Arkade Destinations relives what it is like to be in a certain location. This time, Iceland, will be in Tucson, waiting for you to imagine being by beautiful landscapes and feeling the crisp air. His catalog of music is massive, but you can expect to be wowed.
