Toolong Records group Somehow have released the music video to go along with their track “Shut Your Eyes and See”. The indie track holds big, long breaths of melody reminiscent of The National. A french group making waves in indie in America, the video seems like a compilation of iPhone videos from the perspective of the band. Cold bass lines, twinkly piano and vocals in the range of Joy Division, the band are sure to please any modern goth or indie fan.
A one-man band, lead singer “Erwan Pépiot is a DIY multi-instrumentalist based in Paris. He wrote, recorded and mixed the entire project on his own in his home-studio.” His new record Low Tide will be released in October 2019 via Toolong Records. Check out the video below.
