Savoir Adore

Retro-wave giants The Midnight finally graced Europe and the UK with their synth-soaked melancholic sounds and was topped off by their two consecutive sold out shows in London. The band, which was first started in 2012, draw their inspiration from 1980’s music and pop culture whilst injecting a sense of nostalgia and emotion which has led to their rise and large fan base who were extremely eager to attend these UK shows.

With beautiful synth led tracks and phenomenal saxophone solos accompanied by Tyler’s vocals and incredible lighting, the show encompassed the band’s mood of ‘mono no aware‘ and nostalgia perfectly. The Midnight’s set-list for their first European tour included a wide variety of their work, spanning from their 2014 EP, ‘Days of Thunder’, up to their most recent release ‘Kids’ which came out in September of 2018. The band have already announced they will be returning to London in November, playing The Roundhouse in Camden.

In the meantime, they will be touring the US and working on their new music which is due for September 2019. New York synth-pop due Savoir Adore accompanied The Midnight on their European tour and were the perfect supporting act and brought a wonderful relaxed tone to the concerts, their album ‘Full Bloom’ will be released on April 5th.
