Half the Animal have shared their second single of 2018, “Magic,” and its lyric video. Since reconnecting last year, founders Chase Johnson and Nick Gross have continued to deviate from their skate-punk roots; with recent material settling between indie and electronic, “Magic” is a brooding banger, and the group’s most ambitious effort yet.
