William Ryan Key Shares New Video Ahead of Playing Warped Acoustic Shows

On the heels of his debut solo EP Thirteen, Yellowcard’s William Ryan Key presents the video for single “Form and Figure.” With a handful of lightbulbs and an acoustic guitar, the mellow track gets a moody mise en scène.

“One of the coolest parts about self-releasing Thirteen has been working with my close friends on the creative side,” said Key, who tapped friend Rob Chianelli to film and edit the simple, yet striking, clip. “Knowing there weren’t really going to be ‘singles’ in the traditional sense, I kind of just wanted to do something interesting and engaging with whichever song I felt like.”

Key has also announced he will perform acoustic sets at 4 dates of the final Vans Warped Tour–however, the setlist will feature specifically Yellowcard material.

“Warped Tour was an integral part of the success Yellowcard was able to have,” Key said. “I want the shows to be about celebrating our band’s history and sharing how much it meant to me over the years.”

Warped shows:

July 10th– Nashville, TN (Tennessee State Fairgrounds)

July 12th– Virginia Beach, VA (Veterans United Home Loans Ampth)

July 13th– Camden, NJ (BB&T Pavilion)

July 14th, Holmdel, NJ (PNC Bank Arts Center)
