Swedish rockers Normandie have stripped down their explosive track “Collide” to a ballad comprised of an unusually emotional Philip Strand and chilling piano. Off their debut full-length Inguz released in 2016, the rework reveals a more vulnerable Strand, with a desperation–as evident especially in the bridge–that can’t be veiled by heavy riffs or authoritative screams.
