A Will Away released a new single, “Into the Light,” today from their forthcoming album, Here Again. Premiered exclusively on UPROXX, which also featured an in-depth interview about the new album with guitarist and vocalist Matt Carlson, the track is “about compromise and understanding that one’s circumstances ‘tend to repeat themselves,’ Carlson said. ‘You continue your cycle: you visit the same places, you engage with the same people. Your habits and your mannerisms are reinforced, and your worldview is constantly reinforced. So you end up in this cognitive feedback loop.’”
The band kicked off their North American tour with Moose Blood, Trophy Eyes, and Boston Manor today in Pomona, California. Here Again, out March 3 via Triple Crown Records, is available to pre-order here.
