Today Hey Violet debuted the music video for their angsty alt-pop anthem “Guys My Age,” and the aesthetics alone make it feel like a film (which the end of the video cleverly takes advantage of). When frontwoman Rena Lovelis describes the concept as “a dream-like pastel fairytale sequence,” she’s being modest – the video is mesmerizing, with its stark neon imagery, intricate mise en scène, and every single one of the group members melting effortlessly into their video personas.
