The imagery of Balance & Composure’s new music video for “Afterparty,” off their “Light We Made” album to be released Friday via Vagrant Records, presents a literal representation of what Tyler Joseph may have meant with the lyric, “twisting the kaleidoscope behind both of my eyes.” The flashing visuals are unsettling at times, and that’s why they’re a perfect complement to “Afterparty” which, both lyrically and sonically, evokes discontent and desperation. “Light We Made” is still available to pre-order here.
