The 1975 are finally back. After frontman Matty Healy posted a cryptic message “June 1 – The 1975” and then with the odd comic strip that some interpreted as the group’s break-up. That same night, the band blacked out all of their social media pages.
The following evening, the band took to social media yet again to “return” with a new logo and surely enough, tour dates were announced.
The band hasn’t done very much since the summer, but the band’s new website features a countdown that ends on October 8 at 6:00pm. The band will most likely be releasing new music very soon.
