5 Seconds Of Summer have announced via the band’s official Twitter page that they will be performing at this years MTV Music Awards, set to take place on August 24th at The Forum in Inglewood, California. Check out what the tweet said below.

Performing at the award show means that 5SOS will have to cancel their support slot with One Direction on their current tour. “this means we need to cancel our #WWAT supports in Dallas & St Louis š were sorry if u were hoping to see us but we’ll have more news soon!”
Additionally, the band have announced their first UK headline arena tour, along with playing venues around the rest of Europe.
