Conditions Call It Quits

0

Conditions have called it quits. You can read a statement from the band below.

To our wonderful fans, friends and family –

After many long conversations and a lot of time to think, we as a collective unit have decided that it is time that we walk away from Conditions. At the turn of this year, we will have been a band for 8 years, and feel it’s at that point that we all consider what’s next for us individually. We are incredibly thankful for the experiences that we’ve had and being so lucky to have people like all of you believe in us so strongly. We want this to end on the highest note possible, because that’s where all of us are. We’re happy. We’re thankful for this band taking us all over the world and giving us so much, but we’re also excited to move forward with our lives.

When we wrote what became “Keeping Pace With Planes” in our parents garage, we had NO idea where this all would take us. From our first show on December 1st, 2006 at Alley Katz in Richmond, VA to tackling the entire United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and even Australia, it has been an unbelievable ride.

We wanted to get this word out sooner than later, so all of you have an opportunity to come out and see us one last time if we come to your town. We are planning one last tour in May of 2014 as a farewell. Where we go is yet to be determined, but that will be surfacing over the next few months. As some of you may know, we are doing a short tour in December across the Midwest and Northeast. We’re not sure if we’ll hit those spots again in the spring, so please come out and share a sendoff with us!

Thank you for coming to our shows, singing along, buying our records, buying our shirts, and taking the time to talk and share your stories with us. Thank you for the letters, the pictures, the tattoos, and the nights that we will remember for the rest of our lives. We have been insanely lucky to get the opportunity to do what we’ve done, and all of us are forever grateful for that.

Thank you for your support over the last 8 years. Let’s go out strong.

Much love,

Brandon, Alex, Corey and Ryan
