With multiple inside lineup changes and now a new album Dry Lung Rhetoric, which releases everywhere tomorrow, this band has got the band thing down. How did you form?
The band was formed by Myles, Huw, Carl and Mario who had all met through a previous band. Originally Myles was on drums and we were went into the studio without a vocalist. Once all the music was recorded we enlisted Luke, who was an old friend, on vocals and Myles switched his sticks for a microphone. This left us without a drummer so we held auditions and after much deliberation, added Joshua to the team.
What has been the highlight of your career so far?
I’d have to say shooting our first music video for “A Complex Slate” with the guys at Horsie In The Hedge. It was a long process and was such hard work but was so worth it in the end.
Why should people listen to you? What makes you different?
We try not to get stuck too much with one sound. There is so much diversity within band members musical tastes that we end up experimenting a lot. More importantly we try to be diverse but at the same time do it our way and with our own unique sound.
