1. With having only one date left of the tour after the New Year in Tempe, Arizona your hometown, are you excited to kickoff the year with a local show?
Yeah! It will be great. We have not played at the venue we are playing at in years so it will be great to be back. It was a venue I played at a lot in local bands growing up.

2. Were there any moments in this tour that stuck out more considering past tour experiences?
It was a different tour than we have ever done, the shows felt more like an event than a regular concert, which is something we take a lot of pride in. I think the experience that goes a long with music has been lost recently so it is something we are trying to bring to the table.

3. After starting the year with a hometown show, are you excited to head over seas with All Time Low and We Are the In Crowd?
Yeah it is going to be great we will get the chance to play in front of a lot of new people at the shows so it will be great to get this new album out in the U.K.

4. Pioneer was released 17 months after BLACK & WHITE, was number 90 on the Billboard Top 200, what are your thoughts on the excitement the album has received?
It has been great. I am glad that our fans are enjoying the songs. I feel like our fans are proud of this album and they are proud of us for everything we put into this album. It is great to be apart of something so special.

5. Can you describe what made the experience from recording Pioneer different from the past studio sessions done with previous albums?
Everything about this album was different than what we have done in the past. It was kind of an accident we were originally just recording demos and decided we wanted to try to make a real album ourselves. We eventually called a friend named Colby Wedgeworth to come and make the album with us. It was all very laid back and we were just recording with no real purpose then we picked our favorite songs and made it an album.

6. With each album produced, album cover art is always important. What was the idea behind Pioneer and its artwork?
It was an idea that John came up with and was just a very interesting image that grabbed all of us right away. I want everyone to have there own opinion on it but for me it represents doing what you want to do and not being worried about what others in the world might think.

7. Future goals and ideas within 2012?
Get as many people to hear Pioneer as we can!
