“Great Wide Open,” a series of short documentary films celebrating America’s National Parks and the adventurers who explore them, premiered Monday on VyRT.com. Episodes 1 and 2 are available to view here. Leto – under the pseudonym Bartholomew Cubbins – also directed the 2012 Thirty Seconds to Mars documentary, “Artifact,” which follows the band as they record their album “This Is War” in the midst of a legal dispute with their record label EMI.
