Troye Sivan foreshadowed an announcement to his followers Thursday with the hashtag #WILDHUNT. On Friday, the project went live. Fans around the world set out to geocache limited edition VHS tapes with the “Wild” music video featuring Alessia Cara and compete to be the first to share the video online. The whereabouts of tapes, marked by color-coded pins to show whether a tape has yet to be found, included locations in Europe, the U.S., Mexico, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea. Some tapes are still yet to be found, and more will be dropped globally soon, Sivan’s website states.
