Review: Conrad Keely – Original Machines

0

This past Friday, singer-songwriter Conrad Keely premiered Original Machines, a 24 song medley that explores Keely’s musical callings painted with an existential wonder. The tacks plot different points across the grid, flexing the strength of Keely’s songwriting abilities and his creative intuition. Avoiding the cliche of something about snowflakes and identity, each of Keely’s tracks embrace new tones. From joy to sorrow and peace and dissonance, Keely’s tracks deliver an emotional bear all of the songwriter’s soul.

Conrad’s writing and emotional tells bring on a similar essence of classic Bob Dylan, the attitude of the wandering troubadour playing on grit and emotion. Keely’s ability to communicate a message across lyrics married to the melody keeps you invested across the rather quick 24 track record.
