Luther – Let’s Get You Somewhere Else
Review by Maria Prado

The Pennsylvania rock band, Luther, is back again with their debut album entitled “Let’s Get You Somewhere Else.” Fresh off the heels of the release of their EP “Siblings & Sevens” and multiple back to back tours, Luther is a force to be reckoned with.

The first single off of the album titled “The Glory Bees” starts off with a catchy rhythm that sticks with you throughout the whole song, and ultimately gets stuck in your head. If you’re a fan of Say Anything, then you’ll definitely love this song.

“Heavy Money” begins with a rhythmic bass line that draws you in with Phil Warner’s prominently strong vocals, and even more with another chant-like chorus, it brings to life growing up and falling in love.

Another favorite of mine that is bound to get stuck in your head as well, is “An American Gothic” with Warner and Nick Harris’ catchy harmonious guitar riffs, is another song you’ll catch yourself driving around with on full blast.

If you’re looking for an album that is full of rebellious anthems, this is it. With viciously memorable hooks reminiscent of early Jimmy Eat World, you’re definitely going to want to hear more from Luther.
