Open call! We get emails all the time about those interested in volunteering for Highlight Magazine. Now’s your chance! We’re looking for PHOTOGRAPHERS.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- A very strong promotional and portrait portfolio. You’ve done at least ten posed photo shoots with artists/bands.
- Experience shooting live music (2 years+).
- An open mind! Are you willing to shoot just about anything?
If you meet these qualifications, send our Editor-In-Chief, Ashley Osborn (Ashley@highlightmagazine.net), an email with the following:
1) What you feel are your FIVE strongest promotional band/artist images (attached in the email or links).
2) What you feel are your FIVE strongest live music images (attached in the email or links).
3) A link to your website/portfolio.
4) A little about yourself! Who are you? Why photography? Favorite bands? Anything!
5) Why should we bring you onto our team?
6) A list of your equipment.
7) Where are you located?
8) Do you shoot for other outlets currently?
9) Do you use a lot of social media? Which ones?
