After much anticipation, PVRIS have released a new single called “Dead Weight,” off of their forthcoming third studio album, Use Me, out May 1st. Use Me follows up their 2017 album, All We Know of Heaven, All We Need of Hell that features hits like “Hallucinations” and “Heaven.” Stream the video for the single below and head here to pre-order/pre-save the album.
On the new single, Lynn Gunn explains,
“‘Dead Weight’ is about being a people pleaser, holding others up and never asking for anything back. Quite often that can being taken advantage of and can be hard to say “no”/set boundaries, this feels amplified especially as a woman. This song is about stepping into my power as a woman, shedding old skin and taking nurturing/caretaker feminine nature and turning it into a super power.”
PVRIS will be heading out on a headline tour followed by a number of dates with Halsey:
