30 Seconds To Mars’ new documentary Artifact now has the release date of December 5th. You can read more details on the release below.
The documentary about the feud between 30 Seconds to Mars and its former label, EMI, will finally see an official release, albeit mostly online.
“Artifact,” which chronicles the rock band’s split with EMI as well as the recording of 2009 album “This is War,” will debut Dec. 5 on demand on iTunes, Amazon and other similar platforms via distributor FilmBuff, Radio.com reports.
The film, directed by Jared Leto under frequent pseudonym Bartholomew Cubbins, first received promotion from the band in 2010 before premiering on the film festival circuit last year. “Artifact” ended up receiving the People’s Choice Award for documentaries at the Toronto International Film Festival, as well as the Audience Award at the 2012 Gotham Independent Film Awards.
