  1. Oh highlights mag, there are geneous people in this world, and you are of that category! I just wanted to mention how much it would mean for me to go, aside from just being a punk rock girl and wanting to go cause a (fun) ruckus. I have always been a sort of nostaglic person, for times that I had not even experienced. I listen to bands like The Smiths, Decepeche Mode, Joy Division, Blondie, and The Cure, and cannot relate to the majority of my peers, musically. “I get along more with your mother than with you”.
When I was a young girl, bands like Bad Religion, The Misfits, Flatfoot 56, and others dear to my heart were releasing music I wish I had been old enough to see live. Now, to the delight of thousands, many bands of “yesterday” and today will be sharing the same stage. I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that many artists will be sharing the same stages that their idols and inspirations will be. The one and only Davey Havok, and the iconic Glenn Danzig are just one example of this observation.

In a nutshell, I would be eternally grateful if I could go.

  2. I wanted to go to Riot Fest so bad last year, but I was broke. I’m in the same predicament this year! I just want to see Blink for the first time ever!

  3. I am most excited to see Atmosphere because they are my favorite, but extremely excited about the possibility of Blink 182. They were my favorites as a kid and damn if that wouldn’t be a highlight of life.

  4. Sarah Sikorski on

I would love to see fall out boy. I have never seen them before and it would be epic. I’d also love to see bayside, yellowcard, taking back Sunday, blink, afi, and brand new. These bands have all influenced my life so much and got me into this type community.
