Open call! We get emails often regarding staff inquiries at Highlight Magazine – here’s your chance. We’ve completely scratched the past and now we’re looking for a ton of new writers to add to our incredible staff.
Heres what we’re looking for:
- Writers (BOYS, GIRLS, ALIENS, ETC) who have experience writing/reviewing for a publication/magazine. Big or small – the size of your website doesn’t matter. We just want experience!
- Digital Marketing interns
- News posters!
If you fit these qualifications please email info@highlightmagazine.net with the following materials and questions answered:
1) Who are ya?! We want to know your name, where you’re from (City, State – no address necessary), how old ya are, how often you go to shows. Tell us about yourself in 200 words or less!
2) Why Highlight? Why do you want to work for us?
3) Why you’d make a great addition to our staff.
4) Your five favorite bands – ever. This is a huge deal for us!
5) What positions are you interested in? We need writers, email interviewers, news posters (we really need these), digital marketing interns, album reviewers and all around awesome people who can do everything!

1) Work Samples (five-ten). These can be anything but we prefer interviews you’ve done, reviews, articles, stories, whatever! Strut your stuff.
