Gold Steps have released a brand new single called “Mirrored Souls,” which can be streamed below. On the new song, vocalist Betty Mauritz shares:
“Mirrored Souls” journeys through the wistful yet painful memory of a past love, weaving between rose-colored memories, vulnerable reveals, and angsty bargaining as the narrator wonders: could their love have been saved, or was it always doomed? As you get older, you start to reflect on your past, people who’ve come and gone, and where they are now. Do they think about you too? What would have happened if you were still in each other’s lives? It recalls the promises and pitfalls of young love: if we grew apart, is there a future in which we find our way back to each other?”
