Stand Atlantic have teamed up with Lauren Sanderson for the new single “I’m The Man,” which can be streamed below. The track is off of the upcoming deluxe edition of Stand Atlantic’s 2024 album WAS HERE, which arrives on May 16. On the new track, vocalist Bonnie Fraser says:
“We originally planned to drop “I’m The Man” on WAS HERE, but it didn’t feel ready at the time. We’ve been working on the Deluxe Album behind the scenes, revisiting old demos and turning chaos into something worth shouting about. This one started as a what-if – If I was a rich prick who didn’t give a fuck about anyone or anything, what would I do? That idea spiraled into a pissed-off take on how power structures look to us: out of touch, untouchable, and way too comfortable. It felt like a fitting time in the world to release this song. We linked up with one of our favourite artists, Lauren Sanderson, to bring it to life. “I’m The Man” is loud, unapologetic, and hits harder than ever. It’s out now. Crank it.”
