The Maine surprised fans with a new album called Dyed (2008-2023) this week. The album is comprised of nine new songs, each of which began as a demo from a previous album era. The record was self-produced by frontman John O’Callaghan and is their first full-length release since their 2023 self-titled album.
On the new album, O’Callaghan says: “Revisiting the past can stir up all sorts of feelings. Nostalgia, fondness, gratitude, and on and on and on. We felt everything in between when we uncovered these songs from over the last few decades, and sincerely hope they stir up anything of the sort for you while listening!”
