Trash Boat drop new single, “Better Than Yesterday”

Trash Boat have released a brand new single called “Better Than Yesterday,” which can be streamed below. The track appears on their forthcoming album, Heaven Can Wait, out October 4.

Speaking on the new track, frontman Tobi Duncan shares:

“This song centres around the classic saying ‘comparison is the death of joy’. It creeps into everything I do, who does what I do better than me, who makes more money, who’s better looking, who’s stronger, who’s in a bigger band, focusing on everything that I haven’t (yet) managed to achieve and putting myself down because of it, rather than bigging myself up for what I have already done or focusing on achieving more. This feeling can make you lose faith with anything creative and has crept into my mind regarding music multiple times,” he adds. The song is a reminder to not try to be better than anyone other than yesterdays self, the only person you should focus on beating!”
