Holding Absence are back with a brand new single called “A Crooked Melody.” The track marks the first piece of new music from the band since the release of their second album, The Greatest Mistake Of My Life, and follow-up EP, The Lost & The Longing, last year. On the track, frontman Lucas Woodland said:
“A Crooked Melody is simply a song about denial. It’s the lie we tell ourselves every night to help us sleep, but deep down we know the truth. The big difference between a crooked melody and a lie, however, is that it’s sweet, enchanting and easier to swallow.“
Holding Absence are touring with The Plot In You in North America this spring. Tickets are available to purchase here.
