Lauren Jauregui brought the final night of her An Evening with Lauren Jauregui tour to the Independent in San Francisco on December 2nd.
The six-show mini-tour was an intimate way for Lauren to reintroduce herself to her adoring fans and play new songs from her recent EP PRELUDE, which was released on November 5th.
Lauren began the night with the minute-long interlude that kicks off the EP called “Intro,” which perfectly set the tone for the night. After that, Lauren graced the stage with her presence and performed “Colors,” the first single from PRELUDE.
This show was raw and pure and the only thing accompanying Lauren’s unique vocals was two backup dancers that would join her onstage for a few songs. You could feel just how grateful Lauren was to her fans for being there and sticking with her for all these years.
Lauren performed “Sorry,” the last song off PRELUDE, to end the set. But she returned for an encore where she gave a sultry performance of “Expectations,” the first solo song she released back in 2019.
