Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist YUNGBLUD came to Brighton Dome as part of his huge autumn 2021 ‘Life on Mars’ tour, following the release of his sophomore album Weird. Hundreds of his dedicated fans queued outside the venue hours before doors opened, and once inside their energy and excitement was contagious.
The night kicked off with excellent performances by Daisy Brain and Renforshort- both bands were lovingly embraced by Yungblud’s army and were getting everyone warmed up for the main show.

When Yungblud came on stage, something shifted – you don’t have to be a fan or even know the songs to appreciate the level of showmanship he has. Jumping around the stage, covering every inch of it, staring into his fans eyes and even snogging his guitarist mid-song: Yungblud somehow does it all whilst still singing flawlessly, not losing his breath for a second and keeping everyone engaged and entertained.
The Yungblud army has clearly done this before: chanting the lyrics to all the tracks, knowing when to do what with their hands, opening up a wide circle pit. It looked like the perfect ecosystem: Yungblud fed them his music and words, and they paid back with endless love and support.
