Theater-emo outfit Bullpup have returned with a brand new single called “Thoughts And Prayers.” The song takes an introspective look at a dying planet both politically and ecologically, drawing parallels between the two issues all the while attempting to invoke action and deter apathy.
“Thoughts And Prayers” appears on Bullpup’s forthcoming album which was written while the band members were in quarantine during the COVID-19 pandemic. After passing demos back and forth through remote online chats, the band came together to record “Thoughts And Prayers” in the studio at Behind The Curtains Media with producer Michael Abiuso.
“Thoughts And Prayers” follows up the band’s recently released tracks “Veronica Sawyer’s Big Day Out” and “Actor” which debuted this summer. The lyric video for “Thoughts And Prayers,” which was directed by Dan Bazarian and Danielle Danis, is available to stream below.
