LANY have unveiled their new song “Cowboy in LA,” off of their forthcoming album mama’s boy which arrives Oct. 2 via Interscope Records. For the new album, Paul reveals that he took inspiration from his heritage, abandoning the LA persona he previously adopted.
“Someone asked me where I was from and somewhere, out of my spirit, I just said ‘Man, I’m from Oklahoma!’ It was a weird sense of pride, to be from the middle of nowhere.”
“Cowboy in LA” follows up the recently released “You,” “If This Is The Last Time,” “Good Guys” and “Mean It,” their collab with Lauv. Pre-orders/pre-saves for mama’s boy are available here.
